Main industrial applications:

As a fast-drying agent and film-forming aid, it is widely used in industrial coatings and adhesives such as nitrocellulose lacquer, acrylic adhesives, and sealants.

In the PVC industry, it is limited to specific products with special requirements for initial softness and processing speed, not for long-term use, and not for contact with sensitive populations (such as certain industrial hoses and gaskets).

Due to its proven reproductive toxicity and endocrine disruption risks, DBP is subject to the strictest regulations in major global markets (such as the EU, the US, and China).
